5/29/25 PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

TO: Residents of 1239-1254 Belmont Cir., 1236-1348 Elkhart Cir. and all of Windsor St. in Lake Frances Estates.

Due to a broken 6” main, the water had to be shut off, causing service to be interrupted. Therefore, as a precaution we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes be boiled.  A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.  As an alternative, bottled water may be used. Service will be restored as soon as possible.

This “PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE” will remain in effect until bacteriological surveys show that the water is safe to drink. When the precautionary boil water notice is lifted, affected residents will be notified in the same manner as they received the original notice.

If you have any questions, you may contact the City of Tavares Water Department at (352) 742-6222.
