StoryWalk® at Ridge Park

Discover the City of Tavares Public Library StoryWalk®, an innovative way for children and adults to enjoy reading while exploring the outdoors.

The StoryWalk® is located in Ridge Park, just behind the library and adjacent to the native wildflower garden. Stories change monthly (sometimes twice a month) and feature literary content for all ages.

Made possible through the generosity of a library patron, The City of Tavares Public Library StoryWalk® is the perfect place to read, walk, and connect with nature.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont, in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle and Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. A global initiative, StoryWalk® is found in all 50 U.S. states and 14 countries across Europe and Asia.
