Golden Triangle Regional Park - East Campus

Lake County, the City of Tavares, and the Central Florida YMCA are proud to partner and present the highly anticipated Golden Triangle Regional Park - East Campus. This innovative project represents a collaborative effort to enhance recreational opportunities and community well-being in the Golden Triangle area, encompassing Tavares, Mount Dora, and Eustis. The Golden Triangle Regional Park - East Campus emerged from a shared commitment to provide comprehensive recreational facilities for residents across Lake County and the City of Tavares. This park serves as a hub for diverse recreational activities, including expanded offerings for seniors, adult, and youth programs. 

In the coming months, residents will have opportunities to review design concepts, attend community meetings and share feedback. Updates will be available on the city’s website and through the YMCA’s social media pages. Whether you’re a parent cheering from the bleachers, a retiree looking for a morning pickleball group or someone new to the area seeking connection – this project promises something for you.

GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY 

On Thursday, April 25th, 2024 Lake County, the City of Tavares, and the Central Florida YMCA hosted a groundbreaking ceremony that marked the beginning of construction on this transformative project. Local officials, community leaders, and stakeholders gathered to celebrate this milestone and reaffirm their dedication to enhancing the quality of life for residents throughout the Golden Triangle area.

  • OPEN COURT ONE-HOUR TIME LIMIT (WHEN OTHERS ARE WAITING)
  • PROPER FOOTWEAR REQUIRED
  • PLAY IS BASED ON FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED
  • ADULT SUPERVISION RECOMMENDED

The following are prohibited:

  • Pets, Bicycles, Rollerblades, Skateboards, Sitting or Pulling on Nets, Glass Containers, Food
  • Profanity, Verbal Threats, & Acts of Violence
