Tavares Splash Park

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • HOURS OF OPERATION: 

    • Open Daily: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    • The Splash Park may be closed due to inclement weather and/or maintenance. 

  • LOCATION: 

    • Wooton Park: 306 E. Ruby St., Tavares FL 32778

  • MAXIMUM CAPACITY: 

    • 118 people - All entry is first-come, first-served. 

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

  • CHILDREN UNDER 12 MUST BE SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT.

  • PROPER SWIMSUIT ATTIRE IS REQUIRED BY ANYONE ENTERING THE SPLASH PARK WET ZONE (TO SUPERVISE A CHILD OR OTHERWISE) AT ALL TIMES. 

    • Female (mandatory): One-piece or two-piece swimsuit.
    • Female (optional): Trunks, board shorts, T-shirt, or rash guard worn in conjunction with 1 or 2 piece swimsuit.
    • Male (mandatory): Swimsuit with a liner & string; board shorts extending no lower than the knee
    • Male (optional): T-shirt or rash guard worn in conjunction with proper swimsuit or board shorts 
    • Swim diapers are required for children age 3 and under. 
    • Improper swimsuit attire is as follows:
      • Denim; cutoffs; leotards; gym shorts; biking shorts; undergarments; basketball shorts or other street clothes

  • USERS MUST SHOWER BEFORE ENTERING THE SPLASH BASIN. 

  • THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE SPLASH PARK:

    • NO FOOD, BEVERAGES, GLASS, ALCOHOL, SMOKING OR ANIMALS
    • NO RUNNING, ROUGH PLAY OR CLIMBING ON EQUIPMENT
    • NO SKATEBOARDS, ROLLER BLADES OR BIKES
    • DO NOT SWALLOW THE WATER - IT IS CIRCULATED
    • DO NOT USE THE SPLASH PARK IS YOU ARE ILL AND/OR HAVE DIARRHEA
