[ARCHIVED] Bulk Pick up - We are only picking up Storm Debris (trees and branches)

We are only picking up Storm Debris (trees and branches), and we are working hard to accomplish this enormous task. NO PLASTIC BAGS
Since the hurricane came through, we have suspended regular Bulk pickup (sofas, refrigerators, chairs, wood fences, household junk, etc.) until after all citywide hurricane trees and branches are picked up.
CURBSIDE GUIDELINES:
Post-storm debris (trees and branches) differs from regular yard waste. You can make our job easier by combining piles with your neighbors. Fewer piles = faster pick-up. To help ensure a quicker collection, large amounts of debris do not need to be binned, bagged, or bundled like regular yard waste.

NO PLASTIC BAGS. Do NOT use plastic bags for storm-related yard waste debris. Leave it unbagged or use paper biodegradable bags. The tall paper bags are available from Lowes or Home Depot. All of this storm debris is going to be mulched for composite, which is why there are no plastic bags.

Gather debris (branches, tree trunks, limbs, etc.) Keep storm debris separate from your regular household garbage and recycling.  NO PLASTIC BAGS
Ensure that the piles are kept off streets, sidewalks, and storm drains and are positioned away from parked cars, fire hydrants, mailboxes, power lines, storm drains, or other structures.
If possible, cut branches and logs into 4-foot sections.
Combine your pile with your neighbor’s to create more giant piles and expedite collection.
Avoid using plastic bags for vegetative debris. Instead, use paper bags, bundles, or nothing at all. Pile your debris at the curbside.
SCHEDULE:
Please be patient. Debris trucks with grapples/claws are working to pick up piles. Please remember that it may take several weeks for your pile to be collected. We appreciate your patience!
