The City of Tavares is presently accepting applications for the following Board(s):
Police Pension Board
Tavares Library Advisory Board
Board appointments are made by the Mayor of the City of Tavares. The Police Pension Board seat is for the remainder of a two-year term expiring in November 2025. The Library Board seat is for the remainder of a two-year term expiring in June 2025. Residency requirements may be applicable.
Applications may be obtained by calling 352.742.6209 between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday, by emailing the City Clerk at susie.novack@tavaresfl.gov, or by downloading the application from the city’s website at www.tavaresfl.gov.
