The City of Tavares is presently accepting applications for the Tavares Library Board
The Mayor of the City of Tavares makes Board and Committee appointments. The Library Board seat(s) are for a two-year term that expires in June 2026. Applications may be obtained by calling 352.742.6209 between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday, by emailing the City Clerk at snovack@tavares.org, or by downloading the application from the city’s website at www.tavares.org. Please contact the City Clerk for residency requirements.
