Tavares, FL (September 29, 2025) - The City of Tavares is proud to present the 7th Annual ROCKTOBERFEST, featuring the spectacular Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-In, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Wooton Park in Downtown Tavares. This family-friendly event combines the thrill of aviation with the energy of live rock music, plus food trucks, vendors, fun for all ages, free parking, and free admission.
Plenty of options for restaurant dining in the Tavares Entertainment District while soaking in the waterfront atmosphere of "America's Seaplane City."
Festivities begin with the Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-In, where pilots from across the country showcase their skills in crowd-favorite competitions, including the exciting Pumpkin Drop Contest. The first 100 children visiting the Pilot Registration Tent will receive a pumpkin-decorating kit and candy. Flying contests kick off at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Pilot & Spectator Meet & Greet from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., offering fans the chance to meet pilots and take photos with the planes.
As the sun sets, ROCKTOBERFEST shifts into high gear with a power-packed rock concert, featuring music from the '70s, '80s, and '90s. Attendees will enjoy an unforgettable night of nostalgia and high-energy performances from top tribute acts.
