The City of Tavares Solid Waste Department is experiencing delays in residential trash collection for mobile home communities due to essential repairs on the single axle truck that services these areas.
Repairs have been completed, and service has resumed; however, crews are running behind schedule.
Residents are asked to leave their trash carts at the curb until 7 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, July 8) to ensure pickup.
