The City of Tavares is presently accepting applications for the following Board(s):
- Police Pension Board
- Planning and Zoning Board
The Mayor of the City of Tavares makes board appointments. One Police Pension Board seat is for the remainder of a term expiring in November 2025. One Planning and Zoning Board seat is for the remainder of a term expiring June 2026.
Applications may be obtained by calling 352.742.6209, Option 9, between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday, by emailing the City Clerk at susie.novack@tavaresfl.gov, or by downloading the application from the city’s website at www.tavaresfl.gov.
