4/22/25 PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE
TO: Residents of parts of Lake Shore Blvd., Palm Way, Orange Ave., 500-700 block of Nelson St., 1200-1400 block of Sinclair Ave. and the 1200 block of Park Ave.
Due to a vehicle accident involving a fire hydrant. The water had to be shut off, causing service to be interrupted. Therefore, as a precaution we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used. Service will be restored as soon as possible.
This “PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE” will remain in effect until bacteriological surveys show that the water is safe to drink. When the precautionary boil water notice is lifted, affected residents will be notified in the same manner as they received the original notice.
