“It is the mission of the Parks Management Division to provide high-quality grounds maintenance and event support for the City of Tavares.”

The Parks Management Division, consisting of one manager and four staff members, is responsible for maintaining the City’s twenty parks and two sports complexes, landscaping in and around all City-owned facilities and properties, cemetery maintenance, and ground maintenance contracts are accomplished through this division.

Event support and the repair and maintenance of playground equipment are additional services provided by the Parks Management Division. Through shared responsibilities, they support other divisions when necessary, working together to meet our city's goals.
